Devon IPL 2022: CSK’s Devon Conway can’t take DRS due to power cut issue at Wankhede Stadium
The 59th match of IPL 2022 which was being played between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium.
In this match Mumbai Indian won the toss and decided to bowl first.
Mumbai Indians bowler Daniel Sams made a strong appeal for LBW on the second ball of the first over, then the onfield umpire declared Chennai opener conway out.
But due to technical issues at the stadium, DRS was not available for both the teams, due to which Chennai Super Kings faced a big problem, and Devon Conway had to return to the pavilion.
Then Chennai Super Kings opener Devon Conway could not take DRS due to power cuts issue and Conway had to lose his wicket due to the umpire’s decision.
But later when the replays were seen, the ball was about to miss the leg stump, due to which CSK captain MS Dhoni sitting in the dressing room looked very angry.
Conway wanted to DRS but was told that there was no DRS available due to a power outage at the Wankhede Stadium.
