Johnny Depp is dating married lawyer Joel Rich who worked on his UK libel trial

Johnny Depp is dating married lawyer Joel Rich. The lawyer who defended Hollywood actor Johnny Depp in his UK libel battle against the Sun is dating one of his clients. That attorney is Joelle Rich, who is based in London, according to a Page Six source. The lawyer is married but separated, and the story said that her divorce could not have been finalised yet.
The outlet further stated, using a source, that Joelle Rich and Johnny Depp have “chemistry off the charts,” adding, “It’s serious between them. They are the genuine article.
Despite being absent from the slander trial against ex-wife Amber Heard, Ms. Rich was in the courtroom to support the actor, according to a US weekly article.
According to the story, the couple began their relationship by secretly meeting in motels. She was not required to be there for work purposes. It was personal.
Earlier, there were rumours that Mr. Depp and his lawyer Camille Vasquez were dating because she served as one of his key attorneys during the six-week defamation lawsuit against Amber Heard. Ms. Vasquez, however, refuted these rumours. She claimed that she loves her clients dearly. “I suppose it’s inevitable when you’re a woman performing your profession. It’s disheartening that certain media sources kind of took it up or claimed that my contacts with Johnny, who is a friend and someone I’ve known and worked with for the past four and a half years, were inappropriate or unprofessional in any way. It’s discouraging to learn that.”
Depp’s latest relationship follows his unsuccessful US defamation lawsuit against Heard, who claimed she had experienced domestic abuse in a 2018 op-ed for the Washington Post. The 36-year-old Aquaman star was ordered to pay the actor $10.35 million in damages after the jury ultimately decided in favour of his three defamation claims in June; however, she was also awarded $2 million after a counsel representing Depp made a defamatory statement about her. The devastation I feel tonight is beyond words, Heard wrote in a statement she subsequently shared to Instagram in response to the verdict.
