“Squid Game,” a viral sensation which gave Netflix its biggest hit ever, has confirmed that the showrunner has announced plans for season 2!
Netflix’s CEO predicted that it would be the biggest series hit for Netflix and he was right.
Creator Hwang Dong-hyuk recently revealed that the new season is likely to debut either late 2023 or in 2024, as Vanity Fair reported that he only has about three pages’ worth of ideas to turn into a script.
Squid Game is Netflix’s longest running TV show to date, with customers around the world streaming 1.65 billion hours of Squid Game in the first 28 days of its release on the Netflix . platform, followed by next Season 2.
