NELSON MANDELA DAY

Nelson Mandela's struggle ended the apartheid regime. After which everyone started getting equal rights.

This struggle was not so easy for Nelson Mandela, for this Mandela had to spend 28 years of his life in prison.

Mandela was also expelled from the college for opposing apartheid.

In 1944 Mandela joined the African National Congress.
Slowly people had joined with Nelson Mandela and were moving towards their goal.

But after that Mandela was accused of treason, inciting people and sentenced to life imprisonment.

But even after that his spirits did not diminish. And on 1 February 1990, Nelson Mandela was released from prison.

In 1994, when South Africa was elected president, there was no case of apartheid in this election, so Mandela participated in this election and his party won a majority in this election.

On 10 May 1994, Mandela became the first non-white president of his country, and made all the people equal.
