Broncos hope to have 3 players return from IR this week
The Denver Broncos are hoping that safety Justin Simmons (quad), tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring), and cornerback Michael Ojemudia (elbow) will all be reinstated before Monday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers. All three players are eligible to return off injured reserve this week.
On Thursday, coach Nathaniel Hackett remarked, “That’s what we’re striving for. “We’re going to try to have them practising here so we can gauge their progress.

Currently, there is a window of time during which you are permitted to maintain them in training and acclimatise them after a significant absence. We’ll have them practise, assess their progress, and make decisions based on ear. We’re wishing.
Before heading to Los Angeles for Monday’s game against the Chargers, Denver will train one more on Friday and Saturday. The team won’t likely make any IR decisions until after practise on Saturday.
If Dulcich and Ojemudia make their 2022 debuts in Week 6, Hackett stated, “We would absolutely prefer them to be totally prepared, but we’ll just have to attempt to judge that throughout practise.
If Simmons, Dulcich, and Ojemudia are prepared, there are three open spots on the 53-man roster for the Broncos.
