Whedon’s Justice League footage is eliminated from the Black Adam trailer by the WB

Following criticism, Warner Bros. removed Joss Whedon’s footage from the “Black Adam” teaser. Dwayne Johnson then spoke.

The Justice League and Harley Quinn are still included in an updated version of the latest Black Adam teaser, which also includes deleted scenes from Joss Whedon’s Justice League.

Warner Bros. pulled off portions of Joss Whedon’s 2017 Justice League cut after a new Black Adam trailer was recently released.

Joss Whedon’s Justice League is no longer shown in the most recent Black Adam trailer, thanks to Warner Bros. Warner Bros. Discovery is continuing to expand its cinematic universe despite the DCEU’s ups and downs over the past four years. Black Adam will soon open in theatres around the world after spending years in development hell.

Black Adam, played by Dwayne Johnson, will be portrayed as an anti-hero, exploring the morally dubious aspects of the character even though he is most known for being Shazam’s worst foe.

Johnson has made fun of the Justice League and joked about wanting to fight them ever since he was cast as Black Adam. The team is still present in the DC Extended Universe, but Warner Bros. hasn’t reunited the actors since Whedon’s reworked version of Zack Snyder’s original movie, Justice League, was released in 2017. Warner Bros. continues to view Whedon’s version as canon for the DCEU, whilst Snyder’s 4-hour version exists in a different universe despite the Snyder Cut being released on HBO Max in 2021. Johnson had earlier on Wednesday released a fresh Black Adam trailer to support Warner Bros.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who plays Black Adam, tweeted the new preview and noted that the promotional video’s material had been ” fixed.” Black Adam “ruled it all long before the world of heroes and villains”. “The powerful god was created with no remorse or rage. In one month, [Man in Black] will be released in theatres all around the world. 21 October.”
